manifolds

i was wondering if there is any difference in a b18 intake manifold and a b16 intake manifold n which one is better

depends on which b18 and which b16 you are talking about... they are just about all a little different. probably the best oem intake manifold is the b18c5 (type R). i wouldn't make this modification unless you are building a serious n/a motor though, otherwise it may not be worth the investment.

well the motor is a b16 but it didnt have a manifold i was wondering if a b18 is much different

b18c5/b18c-R (ITR) is the only intake manifold that is interchangeable with a b16....thats b/c the ITR uses the same head as the b16, its just been half-*** ported and has better valve springs/cams/valves.
The b18a/b (LS) or b18c1 (GSR) has a different bolt pattern and won't fit without modification on a b16/ITR (PR3) head.
If you can get the ITR intake manifold for a decent price, then definately go for it, but i see some people charge like $300 for a bare ITR manifold, in which case its not really worth it b/c you can get an AEBS for less. IMO the ITR intake manifold is a pretty good manifold, most aftermarket companies base thier design off the ITR manifold.
