Major problem with install

OK i guess i can start with what i have installed

I have put a d15b vtec-e in a 92 civic HB CX now that i have the engine in and all the plugs on and all the sensor hooked up i can not seem to start the engine..... now when i turn the key over i don't hear the fuel pump come on ?? and at the same time i turn the key over i don't just hear one click from the main relay .. the relay goes nuts just continues to click rapidly and dosn't stop until you remove the key ... BUT if i jump the relay to direct power to the fuel pump it comes on but dosn't stop it just turns on but no pressure is built if anyone could help me i would appreciate it i have been fooling with this engine fo over a week now and i have no leads on what to do thanks

Robbie

the battery may be dead or you may have a loose ground to the battery. I had a problem similar to what your describing and my ground was loose.

If the pumps are comming on and relays are clicking then the battery is not dead. If their is no fuel pressure then maybe your fuel pump is gone, you haven't hooked something along the fuel lines isn't right. Either that or you hooked it all up wrong. We need a little more information then what you have given us. If their is no fuel pressure maybe you should try putting some gas in your tank.. If the fuel pump comes on and stays on then it's not pressurizing the line then something is wrong. More info is needed!!
