My car is at 48000km, and in my book it states to:

Replace air cleaner element (air filter i guess lol)
Replace spark plugs
Inspect and adjust drive belts
Replace trans fluid(CVT)
inspect front and rear brakes
check parking brake adjustment

and all this visually inspect bullshit

Now I bought car at 45773km

When I did buy the car it they did some 104 point inspection or something like that so I'm not too worried about some stuff. Should I replace the trans fluid and spark plugs?? Or can I wait till I reach 50 000km

Thanks in advance,

BPBSI

Depends on how the car was driven....I'd do it now as cheap insurance...but it won't really kill the can to wait till 50K, as long as the oil is fresh.

Yeah, the oil and filter was changed at 45773km. So when it hits 50 000, I still need to do everything else?

do everything as Honda says to do, and your car will go for 500K easy. Trust me, I've seen a few Hondas like this...close to 500K on a 1995 Accord, and my 1984 Accord had 465K.

Buy the parts they recommend at one of our dealer affiliates and have them do the inspection. Tell them you're supplying the parts.

if you bring the dealer parts such as spark plugs or oil (or if you tell them not to change certain things) then they do in fact discount the price of unused parts from the total. i should know cuz i just had my car serviced yesterday for Type 4 (48000km) at Formula Honda. That's the good part.

The BAD part is that now my car is making this funny clunking noise ever since i got it back!

Its better to do it all at once.
that way you wont forget anything
and all your problems will go away
plus u will kno when exactly you changed all of it
its better to change tranny fluid as much as possible
and when chaning tranny fluid look for loose debris etc in there cuz that might be signs of early trannys problems or tranny sproblems that already exist.

It's automatic transmission.. I might as well just shell out the 300 dollars and change what needs to be changed.. (Is 300 the right price range)?
