Main shaft/connecting rod bearings question!
 

So im doing the main crack and connecting rod bearings on a B18B1.
I go and called Acura on Brant *dealer i dela with through work, cheap deals* And the girl there said something to do with colours in the service manual.
Now since i just have this block... not the actual car or any service manuals, I'm kinda stumped.

She had no information as to what these "colours" would mean by, like the thickness or size of the bearings.

If anyone knows what theyre talking about

My god your doing mains and rods and you dont know how to measure clearance....................

so?
how will you ever learn if you aren't willing to try.

SleepyEG if you need any help with building this engine, let me know, i've got lots of tools (micrometers, valve springs compressor, and other various specialty tools for building engines).

I never said anything about not knowing to measure
This is my first time on doing this kinda stuff. Gotta start somewhere.

Andrew i'll let you know if i need any help. One shop i deal with through work does alot mains and whatnot. So whatever I cant figure out, or cant do, I might get them to finish up. But i'll let you know either way. thanx
