Lug nuts???

I recently purchsed a set of aftermarket wheels and I'm looking for a set of aftermarket lug nuts. Not the cheap no-name kind, but something like Kyokugen or Muteki. I am not willing ot spend $$$ for Rays.

What are you guys using? Any problems with them? How much and where?

Evasive Motorosports has the Kyokugen or Muteki for $35US.

Mutekis are awesome.
Me and my buddy boughtfrom them about 2 months ago(black-1 set open & 1 set closed ended)...super fast shipping. We bought them through paypal. For added insurance we both picked up a set of black chrome mcgards to compliment them.So 3 mutekis & 1 mcgard per rim. Its added safety. If someone really wants the rims then they'll get them but it wil slow them down.

BTW it works out cheaper then buying the full mcgard set.

I use Ray extended lug nuts and very satisfied with the extra security it provides.

I am sure Muteki is up to the job.

Pro Parts had the replica spoon ones a while back in the GB section. I don't know if they have any added safety feature, though.

Nova, how do the extended lugs prevent theft? Is it harder to get a socket on them?

There is a separate key for it. The extended part isn't for the extended stud, it is for extra security.

I have the McGuard Spline drive kit, comes with lugs, locks and both tools. Kind of expensive but very nice, the lugs have a washer(like) object on them where they contact with the wheel so the lug isn't spinning on and scratching your wheel. Also, finish is guaranteed not to chip scratch or rust.
