its possible but ls vtec conversions from what i have seen don't work as well as they should...and lots of $$$$$$...i'd just either get a b18c1-c5 motor

Its definatly possible, but not worth spending that much money on, me personally I am going the route of a B16 head because the B16 and c5 heads are almost identical ecept the c5 head has a mild port and polish, and the cams and valve train is better. But for the money you would spend on the c5 head you could get a cheap b16 head and get some new cam shafts and valve train and get it machined, I think you would be much happier with this.

If you have allot of money to spend or have time to build ls/vtec over time, then I say go for it! But if your on a budget do what Quick CX said and get a B18c1 or c5(Type R). But the LS/VTEC done correctly can last forever or just as long as any other motor and it will kill most motors!
