Lowering Springs?

2002 Civic Coupe SI Veloz and I am looking for springs to lower the ride. At this point nothing too crazy. Plan on keeping the stock shocks and I hope to get around a 1.5" Drop. Now my question is I don't want the rear to be lower than the front and nothing crazy insanely rough. So who is a good manufacturer of springs that will yield me with this result.

I had Tein S-techs on my Protege5 which were a nice spring but I get the feeling that for the Civic they are not so hot with sag issues. Anyways any information is well apprectiated.

tein s tech were actually designed to be used with stock shocks
h and r
eibach pro kit

all of those will do for you.

but theres a good chance that eventually your shocks will blow, could be a week or a few yrs

I realize that, thats why I am trying to get a spring that gives me the best performance without being too stiff and rough. I know if I lower it too much it just makes it that much harder on the shocks aswell. I will eventually change them, but with canadian winters I don't want something too low because this will be my daily driver.

I will have to check out those manufacturer's websites.

Thanks hdave

i would say h&r sport... i have the race springs with a more agressive drop and they are damn smooth....

the sports should yield you the drop you are looking for and the h&r s will give you an excellent ride

^ yep ive also heard great thing about h and r springs, excellent ride quality and your shocks should last.

their claim is 1.3" i beleive, but its more like 1.5" or so and it looks great.

check out www.7thgencivic.com in the performence/suspension section there are many pictures of different drops and a lot of info
