lowering question
the dude i bought my car off said the car has skunk2 coil overs with the original shocks
i adjusted the spring to make it loose .. as far as i could without having it so loose that the spring bounces around.... but the car still looks like the same height... i want it slammed to the ground.. does that mean i need to get some adjustable shocks or something else? can someone help me out here? thanks. drew. |
yes, get performance shocks if you wana slam it or even wana lower your car, that whould def help and rides gonna be much better and not so bouncy. if you ride on stock shock for long and you have you adjustment really low on those coilovers then your stock shocks will blow after sometime.
so its better to buy adjustables shocks or any name brand performance shocks, you dont wana go cheap after all its all about the safty. |
shocks will not help you to go lower. The only thing that affects your ride height is the springs/coilovers (unless you get true coilovers).
The shock is there to keep you from bouncing around WHEN you get "slammed to the ground". |
thanks... i got it sllllllaaammed on the stock shocks..
