just get some h&r sport springs or eibach sportlines, and wrap em around your shocks, you should be ok.... i got the h&r sports on stock shocks and am satisfied.

so i just take off the stock springs and buy some new springs that will lower the car.. and thats it?

also since like yesterrrday im hearing all this squelling and screeching noises coming from the left back wheel whenever i go over a little bump or whatever.. even when im going and stopping.. also if i go to the back of the car and bump it up and down the ****** starts making the noises.. some dude said my left shock is broken or some ****

but what i want to know is if i should buy a new one or get that "coil over" ****.. can anyone explain to me the difference to me about springs/shocks/coil overs ..

thanks
drew.

Go for shocks and springs. Coil overs are expensive, but have different features. If you want just a drop, do Koni Reds (or if you want adjustable ride from soft to hard go Koni yellows), and H&R sport springs. I do not recommend that you just do springs, it will wear your stock shocks, and you will eventually have to replace them. Might as well do it all at once, and if you have a problem with one of your shocks, you are going to need it replaced anyway.

Squealing noise could be a warped rotor, or if you have drums perhaps the shoes need to be reinstalled and deglazed.

Or it could be **** spring, shock, or bushings that have deteriorated..

Decide what you're going to use your ride for. If you want to just have a nice looking ride to cruise around in go with the koni reds and any of the aftermarket springs. Find out the spring rates obviously the higher the rates the stiffer your ride. Now if you wanna have some real fun and go racing. Definately go with koni yellows (adjustable shocks), and a coilover set up for your springs. You should also upgrade your sway bar set up if your going racing. The suspension techniques bars are pretty good, but check out the adjustable rear bar you can get from Real Time Racing in the US.
