Lowering EF
 

So i've been looking to lower my EF with sportlines but looking at my current ride hieght in front i have a 2.5 finger gap (.5 because 3 is a squeeze lol) and 4 fingers in the back, with sportlines my 205 wide tires would rub no?

also since the car is a bit old of course, it would be better to change all my bushings right?? what else might i have to look at due to the age that would allow me to utilize this new suspension setup's full potential....?

Changing your bushings is no easy task but once completed your cars handling will be allot more precise. Also look into upgrading your rear swaybar. This will kill some understeer.

Bushing are a must with those car, a good torch too if you want to remove those rear shock bolts.

I would just get some upgrade kits including front and rear sway bars. The sway bars should come with bushings for the bars itself and an energy suspension bushing kit for the rear control arm. The front bushings are usually soild and don't need replacement.


as far as your tires are concerned has a lot to do with your wheel offset. If its correct you don't have to worry about wheel rub. It might happen on a very tight turn but normal driving should be fine.
