you can get alignments done much cheaper then that... in the winter i got one done at OK tire... i had a store credit so it was free technically.... but i think a 2 wheel alignment was $49 and a 4 wheel alignment was $**

I sudjest goping to somone that does lowered cars regualarily...so the can set up the toe correctly...if the toe is set up right then Rotate your tires at every oil change, and the camber ware wont be that noticable..

Go to Wheel & Tire Zone in Mississauga... they work on cars with modified suspensions. I had a proper alignment done there for $100. They asked me what I was using the car for (they do alignments for competition too... i.e. autocross) and after it was done provided me with a printout of the alignment.

Ryan I bet they made sure it was bang on to what you you wanted ...

not like some places where they set it to within factory specs

or close to what you want, like if you want 0.5 degree toe out and they do 0.4 and 0.6 on each side....

with wheel and tire zone they do 0.5 each side and will work till it's done.

I had an alignment there and my race brakes installed there.. it's a nice setup now

does it matter if u take a lowered car to do an alignment anywhere? or does it have to be a place that deals with lowered cars specifically?

Joker: it doesn't really 'matter' but I'm sure you'd rather take it to someone that does them regularly and knows what they're doing with a lowered car.

yes you have to go somwhere that does lowered cars, because not all shops have flatbed alignments racks...you will realise this when you try and drive onto a regular rack and bounce your front end off the ramps... Depending on how low you are of course...it also helps having a guy that knows what he doing with a lowered car.
