Question Lower rear tie bar effect/experiences?

Hi:

What are the effects (and your experiences) of a rear lower tie bar. Expecting a DC Sports for my EG coupe si next week.

Not much in a TCC search.

Many thanks for all opinions, advice, suggestions, etc..

if you get the polished silver, it will look very pretty.
IMO a stronger thicker sway bar is money better spent or even a rear upper strut bar.

edit: never really felt a difference with the neuspeed one on an integra. it shined pretty nice from the rear though and it said neuspeed in yellow

I have a Tezo REar Lower Tie bar and the first day I put it on I was pumped. It made the rear feel so much more solid... but alas, those feelings have gone now.

that's what my plan too but I actually did it. The feeling for the whole car's handling is inproved a lot, but I think it is because I got the Neuspeed front tower bar.And I have the reactive rear upper and lower on the car before install the Neuspeed front upper, the feeling for the rear is pretty solid.
Well, just like HappyB16 said, the feeling is gone now, just got use to it and start to want more!

Go for the rear swaybar first like I said on Wednesday, Audiophilia. I think that will provide you with the most noticeable results. I'm still searching for the proper lower control arms for the GSR bar that I picked up but once I have that I'll be set to put it on. The tie bar is nice, but considering you're more concerned about handling, I would really look into getting a rear swaybar first -- and you might as well get it put on while you're getting the springs and shocks done too!

If you REALLY want a difference, look into adapting an Integra Type R swaybar to the rear (you'll need a kit like Beaks offers to strengthen the subframe, but you'll have a car that will definitely be nice in the corners!).

If you want more info on what you need for installing the swaybar (GSR or Type R), get back to me by posting a message or PM'ing me.

Yup, rear sway bar is a good investment if you looking for handling but for EG, I don't know about couple, I have a EG hatch and it is impossible to have ITR rear sway bar with the original rear lower control arm, you need either ITR or JDM EG's rear LCA in order to have the ITR rear sway bar, also with Beaks. Again, correct me if i am wrong.

That would be incorrect. USDM (or I guess CDM ) LCAs from a 93-96 del Sol Si, 92-95 Civic 4-dr. EX, or 94-01 Integra and the Beaks kit is all that's needed to adapt the ITR bar to 5th gens. ITR LCAs are a bit different -- You wouldn't be able to use your struts with it without considerable work. Check the Beaks site for more info on the procedure... it's easier than you think.

O.... coz I already have the Beaks and ready to put it on the hatch this weekend but people keep telling me that in order to have ITR sway bar, I need the LCA from ITR or JDM EG, well, maybe that's just the case for hatch. Anyways, I will know this week or next as I will have the ITR with Beaks on. Thanks for the correction tho.

I might be wrong on getting the part from an EX sedan... seems it's supposed to be an EX-V here in Canada.
