lower control arm

OK here's the deal
I lowered my car a couple days ago, and everything looked great.
Then, my friend told me, that I need to take my car up on a hoist and loosen the lower control arm bolts, apply some pressure on the car, and tighten them again.
He said to do this because my new springs are shorter than the original ones, the lower control arm will be acting like a spring becaus of some bushing in it bla bla bla. Anyway, he did that and he did it so that he did each wheel seperately since his hoist is not the one you can drive onto, but those arms that you extend to each of the 4 corners of the car.
So, now depending on what surface I park, I noticed the car sits lower on one side than the other, in both rear and front.....

Did anyone had anything similar?

it's lowered on TEIN S tech springs

i have the same problem with my tokico shocks/spring combo.
shop told me to wait 2-4 weeks before going in again for full alignment.

tho i called tokico and they said it could be a leaking shock...

Well, depending where I park, but on different surfaces it seems different..so might be that too

now, have any of you heard of loosening these bolts to get rid of the "spring effect" of the lower control arm it might be having since its a shorter spring newly installed?

I've never heard of that ^, but i would go with what bbarbulo said and go ahead, tighten the bolts for the springs with weight on the car. lol Get your entire family in the car, ROOAAADDD TRRIIPPP.. to the driveway.
