low end tq?

Hey, i have a 05 civic sedan, 115hp/110tq.

as you may all know.. this thing has absolutely no ***** whatsoever, especially in the low end.

i like to keep my revs as low as possible at all times, and this thing cant accelerate for crap with ur foot isnt on the floor.

so i want to know what kinda mods can i do to give my little civic some more low end torque?

i prefer cheap mods because im poor.

i heard a cold air intake will give me some low end.... what else can i do to gain some?

The words performance and cheap do not mix
As for the lack of low end torque, what do you expect from 1.6L? For daily driving with the car loaded with crap and people that should be more than enough. Live with it, be nice to you car and thrive in honda reliabiltity. Most of all though, get some patience and learn to drive.

nothing short of displcement or force induction will help you, your engine is just slow like every other d series.

Your car can be fast, I don't think reaching 180 on that thing is impossible. But it is just not quick. And to be quick is what gonna cost you money.

Cars that save on gas usually, aren't that good with power.

My answer will be 50 shot of N2O Wet Kit.

The engines in our cars were not designed for torque, but for high revs and fuel effeciency. Unless you do some major mods, live with it.
