If you want a good price on rotors theres a place in Scarborough called etop line that sells cross drilled rotors for 55 canadian. I found the place on ebay. I paired them up with KVR carbon fiber pads as well. Great combo.

Boosted91si 05-May-2006 01:34 PM

bbarbulo 05-May-2006 03:50 PM

cool, we need ppl taking pics and doing writeups. it's easy as pie, but some first timers like to see pics of whats involved before they try it.

I have the KVR cross drilled rotors and carbon fibre pads on my EF. If you have nice rims, be prepared to clean them regularly. My 16''s get dirty in a couple of days. I'll snap a pic and post them.

Boosted91si 05-May-2006 05:26 PM

i got 15"s and i already clean them reguraly so its no biggy

imported_BoOsTd 05-May-2006 06:54 PM

same setup but the drilled rotors. Very happy, 70,000k later and running :)

imported_JDMman 05-May-2006 07:22 PM

whats do you guys think is better for a daily driven car?.... slotted or cross drilled??

imported_Joe_98Si 05-May-2006 07:37 PM

i would go with cross drilled just for the fact that slotted rotors wear your brake pads down very quick, and i like the look of them better :D

imported_JDMman 05-May-2006 10:36 PM

i heard from some guy that cross drilled rotors get rusted in the holes...... the guy was a real unreliable source but is this true??

imported_JDMman 05-May-2006 10:45 PM

oh and to those that asked where he got his for 160.... well you won't get it for that price since he got hook ups but teknotic is having a sale right now on kvc front crossdrill or sloter rotors plus kvc cf pads for $175.... lol i don't mean to sound like an ad but i just wanted to inform those that were interested cause its a pretty good deal....
