Hey ppl.... Im helping my friend out with a motor. Im looking to

buy a 3s-gte mr2 motor and i was wondering which company

would be the best to work with. ie. Tiger , Metro , SHine or any

other JAPANESE auto parts company? Who in the GTA is

respectable and has good quality service? Thanks for your help

The 3sgte for the MR2 is a little harder to find than the common FWD celica version when your shopping around.

There are 3 different versions of the specific JDM MR2 RWD 3sgte version.

1992-1993 GEN2 mr2 225 horsepower
1994-1995 GEN3 mr2 265 horsepower
1996 Gen4 3SGE VVT-i *EXtremely Rare*

For the gen2 and gen3 LSD was optional, but the all the 3rd gen motors had LSD.

Anyway, tell your friend to give us a call and we would be glad to discuss exactly what motor he is interested in and help him get together everyting he needs if hes swapping from a non turbo car to turbo.
