a little problem
 

Please forgive me if this belongs in another forum. I did look, but I don't know. Anyways, I'm driving. And as soon as i slow down to almost a stop, and take it out of gear, the oil light and engine light come on for a second. I give it a little gas and it goes away. Immediately, I think alternator. But I'm not sure. And here we are.

Anyone have this problem before or know what is causing it?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

well, how is your oil level?

does the idle drop?

If you check your codes... is there a code?

the idle doesn't drop. i'll check the oil first thing tommorrow. could a low oil level cause the engine light to come on too though?

could trip a code relating to low oil pressure.

hmm. well, i'll check it out. hopefully it's something that simple.
