Question Lightweight Lugnuts (Kyokugen)

Does anyone here have Kyokugen Lightweight Lugnuts??

if so, are they also wheel locks? like, do they have a custom pattern, and socket wrench adaptor for anti-theft purposes?

I guess my question would be...

Where can you get them locally and how much do they run?

Thanks!

lol.... you're welcome...
don't know anyone local selling these... but after getting these I have been told to be very careful with the key coz they break very easily
try to do a search on Honda Tech coz there are lots of threads on this... but u'll find a lot of bad reviews on the key
I'm still trying to buy an extra key just incase it breaks

Yep, I wouldn't recommend Kyokugen lugs. If you got the money, go with the Spoon, Skunk2 or Rays lugs. I know the Skunk2 isn't locking, but I can't remember about the Spoon or Rays ones.

I have heard many bad things about Kyokugen lugs.

Bad keys, bad nuts..., etc

Listen to the wisdom of R0Y and SW20...

I've never had problems with my Kyokugen lugs. The people who do have problems usually are the same people who don't heed the warnings, and use the key with an impact gun. If you use a torque wrench and hand torque them on, you won't have a problem.

SW20 MR2 the Rays are the only ones that include locks, the Spoon Sports and Skunk2's do not.

Thanks for the info, Hype One. A lot of the people that have the Kyokugen ones were actually using torque wrenches. In Kyokugen's defense though, the problem may have actually been fixed now.

The company that makes the Buddy Club ones is called Daiyama. I've heard many good things about them.

The Buddy Club ones are really light weight, and work very well with extended wheel studs, however, they don't lock, they're just a longer lug.
