Lightest 15's around
What are the lightest 15" rims around for use on EG's?
Gonna get some rims later on so I am looking at running the lightest rim's.
I like the ROTA Auto-X and those are like 12 lbs!
Thanks

If you want 15x6.5, Desmond Regamaster is the lightest @ 3.88kg (8.57lb). - Spoon spec
If you want 15x7, Desmond Regamaster is still the lightest @ 8.8lb each. - Desmond's own spec
Rays Engineering Volk CE28N 15x7 is at 9.1lb; Volk TE37 15x7 is at 9.2lb.

OEM wheels aren't light. Better than steelies, but not by much.
6th HX wheel is decent at 14" (8 spoke), and 5th gen VX wheels at 13" (also 8 spoke) respectively for somewhat light OEM Honda wheels. SiR and GSR blade are out of the question.

yup, 8-10 I consider super light in 15", 10-13 in 16" and 13-15 in 17"
Another one to consider Enkei RPF1 which are 9. something I believe in 15x6.5
8-9lbs is damn light but even 10lbs, 1 or 1.5lbs isn't going to make a difference.
I used to have 17" konig heliums (10.8lbs for 15" 16.8 for 17" with 205/40/17 Toyo Proxes and they weighed the same as 15" steelies with 195/55/15 winter tires.
Its a cost vs benefit factor, I'd love 9lb rims but I just can't justify spending obscene amounts of mnoey when Konig Heliums or even Buddy Club SF are cheaper and not obese, but not light.

does anyone know how heavy gram lights 57S are? in 15x7 or 16x7. i want to buy those rims.

Rays Engineering Gram Light 57C is cast 1 piece, 57S is cast 2 piece. Though cast wheel can be heavy, but depending on technology, it could be light as well, i.e. Enkei RP-F1 cast 15x7 wheel at 9.1lb
I think Gram Light should be around 10 to 11lbs, for a 15x7 spec wheel.

you also have to take into consideration the tires you are going to use. I have Sprint Hart CP-F's, they weigh 10.5 a rim. I have Azenis 205/50/15 on the rear and they weigh 28lbs mounted. For the front i have BFG drag radials, 205/50/15 they are 21lbs mounted. so you can see the significant difference in weight. Azenis are heavy as **** (thumbdown) I also had yokohama Advan AD06's 195/55/15's and they were 22lbs mounted and gripped better then the azenis in wet, dry, track conditions.
