Lighten FlyWheel in a GSR

Hey this is my new problem, i m not sure if i should stick with the stock flywheel from my gsr or should i go to a lighten 1

i understand how the lighten flywheels affects the rpms, and shift timing, but what will the results be if i do get a lighten 1, will i notice it over a stock flywheel??

You can even lighten your stock flywheel. Its ok to take a few pounds off. Just dont' get one of those racing less than 9lb flywheel's. You rev's will drop way too much.Too hectic for the street. Its smoother with a little more weight. Im buying a stock JDM type-R flywheel. Flywheel's are cheap and there's ton's of selection. Just do some research.

I have a 9 lb flywheel in my car with an exedy organic clutch. Yes it revs faster, yes revs fall faster(what else would u expect?) but it's still extremely civil. Your grandmother could drive it. What sacrifices driveability are non-sprung hubs on the friction disc in combination with aggressive friction material and high clamping forces.

For an NA daily driver I don't believe there is anything wrong with a 9lb flywheel, unless you lack any sort of finesse in your driving.

I guess 9lb is alright. Its when its less than that that its hectic. Ive never driven one but Ive rode in one with like an 8lb flywheel or something ridiculously light. It was just too much.

I have a 9lber in my turbo d16z6. You can shift at 7000rpms and your revs dont fall under 4700-5000 depending on how quick your shifts are.
For NA, i would go as low as 7-8lbs.
For turbo, If i could do it again i would go to 11-12lbs to keep some load on there for quicker spool up.

I plan on installing my 7.5lb flywheel into my gsr shortly. I will let you know how it feels....(can't wait). Btw..I have a stock GSR flywheel for sale. It has been lighten to 12 1/2 lbs. Worked great my previous setup.
