KYB AGX Shox
Hey , I have a 91 Si (plan to solo 1 race year) and I'm thinking of getting the KYB AGX shocks but the only pricing I've see in Canada so far is about $217 a corner (Performance Improvements)..It's only like $80 American on the net..any advise? (First Post!)

For some reaseon, the Canadian distributors really put a premium on AGX.

With shipping and exhange rate and all that interesting stuff is in not cheaper to purchase up here?...340US = approx 750 CAN + install....maybe there is a way TCC members could get a postall addr in buffalo so we could ship items there and drive down for pick..(just a crazy idea)...

I ended up paying about $600 CDN for mine, that's with shipping and duties .... it's $650-$700+ plus tax up here.
I dunno its your call. Just remember that buying local doesn't mean you will necessarily get the parts faster. I got mine in 3 days from coximport, which is in North Carolina. Some people get it locally and wait 3-4 weeks for the shop to get them in.

USD$358.00 shipped = CDN$568.10 @ today's rate.
Shipped USPS, a day or three slower than UPS, but no brokerage. We'll see what gets tacked on. Should be GST and possibly some duty.
Even Kevin at Psychotic (and he's the best and very reasonable; I would always order from him) said that it was a really good price.
The guys @ *** could not have been more helpful.

BTW -- have you guys checked out the 'Border Service' @ modracer.com. Just an idea. Might suit your needs.

I just got my AGX a few months ago for $550 cdn at Yoshio's, but that was because there was a special from the distributor, so I am sure the regular price can't be that much more. Maybe around $650? If not my buddy owns an Auto Parts Plus store and I can ask him for a price if anyone is serious about getting a set.
