Thumbs up Kumho KW11's

These winter tires are the shyt!! Was driving around downtown/uptown today with all that snow and never got stuck.

Was in rush hour traffic around 6pm on Avenue RD goin north to St. Clair and if anyone knows there's a HUGE hill just before St. Clair. Taffic was backed up like a **** before that hill and by the time I got close enuff I saw ppl were have major trouble getting up it. Sliding all around and whatnot. So when I had an opening I broke free of the "pack" and was gently controlling the throtle and manuvering (sp) around ppl. I was so happy that I was "trucking" along passing everyone. Even BMW's, Lexus', and shyt, but of course not the 4x4's

I'm glad I got these tires cuz if I used my crappy 13" all seasons, I surely would've gotten stuck today.

Thanx goes out to SW20 MR2 and his partner for hooking me up.

i have nordic icetracks and my car was dragging EVERYTHING under it but I never got stuck once and I saw so many other cars not being able to move. I was going to my gf's house in hamilton and going up the mountain access there were all these cars just spinning their tires and they couldn't get up the hill lol.

for the KW 11's from me too... it's unbelievable, i've been driving around aswell and didn't get stuck or even close to stuck once, no serious tires spinnig or anything like that... best money i ever spent on my car for the winter... only difference is that now i get so annoyed at ppl driving 30 lol so just like Slvr-Bullet said, as soon as i got a chance i broke free and was easily infront of the whole pack everytime...

I'm currently using my STOCK oem Civic rims and tires (bought June 1998) on my Prelude... they have about 10-20% tread left on them and one has a slow leak. I get "stuck" daily, but it just takes a bit of rocking back and forth with the clutch to get going I went to Walmart for that super-duper special deal... turns out NOT - prices were still like $65/tire. Canadian Tire has some great deals now, but I decided to spend that money on other goodies
