Koni Reds....Any good for track use?
Hi guys, what the poll on Koni reds? Are they decently stiff compared to OEM's. It'll be on a fairly mild spring, and will see some occasional track use. I can get a set for dirt cheap. Should I just shell out for adjustables? Thanks.

reds are adjustable off car, they're a decent strut if you can get them really cheap, you might as well.

I had 0 complaints with my Reds. I've read that they are valved the same as the Yellows, but are just not as adjustable. On the stiffest setting, with H&R Sports, my car handled awesome.

Thanks guys, I may bid on them. good to know. You guys are swell. : )

reds are bouncy, i used them for lapping days at shannonville and auto x. however, mine are on max stiff but i still find that it's not good enough for the track. i have to put them to that setting to get decent results but i'm still not satisfied. if i were to do it over again i would've gotten coilovers. reds on max stiff is super bouncy. my passengers say my car feels like it'll fall apart everytime i hit a bump. haha but maybe that's because my car is gutted and they can hear everything. if you have to get struts, get some that are adjustable even if they're installed, makes life much easier.

yeah I'll have to see. Its actually for the vigor, so theres some weight for them to manage. The spring is fairly mild, so it wont take a ton of dampening to keep them under control. I just want ti nice and firm for th eodd track day. Ry
