Key cylinder replacement

Key cylinder replacement
Im changing the key cylinder in my car and can't figure out how to get it back in. I've followed the instructions in the helms book but i won't "click" into place. 
Anyone have any experience doing this? I've tired something almost every day this week and im starting to get frustrated.
