keeping PS

hey guys im putting my turbo on and the way the intercooler mounts to the rebar the piping will hit the big metal shaped u thing that the power steering is connected to that runs right behind the re-bar.is there anyway that i can cut that metal peice down to like 1/4 of its size and reweld a new peice to make it smaller???or even buy a smaller fitting?

why not change your end tank? pics would help.

is a very small intercooler ....like half the size of a rad and it sits right where the a/c used to be but in front of the rebar and the inlet comes straight out behind towards the block.

was your car auto before? or still is?
if so then your talking about the auto tranny cooler.
thats not part of the power steering.

imported_italstallion 17-Jul-2006 02:23 AM

no no its was never an auto it is a long metal line thats looped and it goes half length of the rebar and goes back to the power steering resevoir.
