Has anyone ever seen this done at all? Just wondering if people have heard of the K20 (RSX Type S) engine swap in a 5th Gen? Im asking cause there is an RSX in town that was rear ended in this storm and the car is a right off but nothing in the engine bay was touched...The engine is still mint, its just the rear was racked under a truck so the insurance is scrapping the car...Just wondering if this swap is feasable?

As likely as an NSX engine in your Civic... I've seen B18Cs in RSX, and K20s in 7th gens, bit not much else. Wayyyy too different a chassis to be put in

hey bbarbulo, i saw crx with a nsx engine, i believe it was a 93 nsx motor.
that was pretty cool. mid ship as well.

i saw that CRX too, but it was custom built and for all the money they put in it, they only ran 11 seconds.

RSX Type S engine can be swapped in a 5th gen civic.

A shop in the states called Area 51 swapped a k20 into a 6th gen hatchback.

Just not worth the trouble though... B16A + Vortech supercharger makes 350 hp and 230 ft-lbs. for a smaller price tag prolly.

Hehe, I already got an RSX deck they're SWEET ... too damn bad it won't fit. Nothin a little :working: won't fix
