hey guys. i fixed my idle problem and running problem... but since i took it out of storage yesterday, it wont go past 5000 rpm, it seems like its leaning out.. i dont think my vtec is working, im gunna pull it into the garage tonight. it idles fine and runs fine all the way till 5000 then it kinda buggers up. im just running a P06 chipped for vtec but andrew sent me a new ECU and it should be coming tomorow. i think one of my vtec wires may have disconnected, but im looking into it tonight and hopefully something comes up. any input would be great, thanks for all the help guys.

what is the base timing set at?
Make sure the dizzy is plugged in tightly, i had a problem like that before and the dizzy plugs were sort of loose, clicked them in and problem gone.

well.. it still revvs if you dont have v-tec.

I would say do a tune-up which should most likely solve your problem.

i just did a full tune up... thanks for the input chris, andrew, ill take a look at the dizzy plugs tomorow when i swap the ECU's, thanks guys
