just a little tip involving upper arm bolt!
 
okay i have my whole suspension in the front off i went to bolt up the arm to the upper controll arm with a 17mm this happened last time it cought half way and i stripped the **** outta it... this time i did it by hand it's stoped but maybe if i lift the lower arm maybe it would somehow catch again! ??? i just dont feel like strippin this ball joint thread all over again ...

use anti-seize compound to help prevent corrosion as well as stripped threads. i put it on every bolt that comes out of my car.

i can't really say for your particular dilemma, pics would be great, then i could probably make a more accurate suggestion.

just make sure that the castle nut is on the threads properly before you tighten it.
