jeff, i am dead serious about the lessons. anyone can feel free to pm me. i have no issue with sharing my limited knowledge with anyone who is willing to do the same and shares an interest in learning more. knowledge is meant to be used, and if you can use it on behalf of others, you should. the more knowledge you give away, the more will come to you.
matt, i do make all my own flanges/ adapters. i work full time as a tool and die maker, but once in a while i have the opportunity to make stuff.
andrew, where are you located? "hammerton" i assume i'd love to start up a shop some day and doing it with someone else would make it much more cost effective and profitable depending on what that person can bring to the table. i've looked around a bit in the burlington area for spaces to lease and i've found a 1364 square foot space for $750/month. i'm just looking right now as a research tool for writing my business plan. could be a future partnership...? who knows. i'm just trying to network as much as i can and hopefully i will learn the right things and bump into the right people... i may have some more serious equipment in my garage as soon as this summer.

wow thats really awesome. Kudos for you for wanting to teach others the knowledge you have gained as well, makes you a true class act, dont see many of those types today, its all about the money grab.
I could see you helping out big time with parts/tools for TCC members if you ever decided to, Im sure there could be many things you could offer.
Welcome aboard.
Sorry Im no help, my main background is electronics not cars lol
