JDM CTR Pistons

Okay soo i got a set of jdm b16b pistons and i plan on using them on a b18c1... do any one know how much clearens i will have between the head and the valve's?

PCT piston in an untouched 18c will put your c.r. a whisker below 13.0/1. you've been warned. piston valve clearance is just one of the few hinderances when running PCT's.

Your best bet is to 'clay' the motor before anything else.
Time consuming, but it's the only real way to tell your P-V clearance.

Did you really need the PCTs?
Should have looked into a set of JDM P73 or PR3s or even P30s.

you will have no clearance issues if the head and block havent been decked and your compression will be about 12.4:1. with proper tuning you will be fine. some people on here are scared of compression but you will have no issues with your set up.

yaaa i know its goign to be 12.4:1 .... and thank u
i wanted to make a hi comp motor and wanted to use honda parts lol....... plus i had this pistons in my closoit colecting dust... cont ask..... but thanx every one ill let u guy's know how it goes

im all for high compression, i would use ctr cams though.

mmm im not really going ot be using the ctr cam's using some thing else.... just waiting on rod bering then can put it all togetter and out on the rode......... sould be here tomorrow..... its taking soo much time to get stuff hahahaha......
