if you start off with a perfectly running engine, and then do one mod, and find out it's running like ****, then you know that one mod may be the problem.
but if you start off with an engine plagued with poor running and CELs, then you throw 50 mods on that engine, and then try and go back and fix all your problems.... good luck!!!eleven

man..
you are getting so ahead of yourself. First why don't you fix all the little bugs you have with your car? Then worry about more speed. F/I will only make your problems worse.
And for the price of a jrsc.. you should just build your own turbo kit.

I think supercharging is a really neat way of doing it, it's very well packaged, and it's controlled boost (as opposed to when a wastegate fails for example).... so IMO, yeah supercharging is cool for a daily driver, and it sounds hella mean.
I would recommend Vortech over JRSC, but whatever.....
chris, actually I did think you were serious theoretically, when everything is done right, forced induction shouldn't cause any problems. but that's in theory

yeah it's a tuff decision, like i mean it all depends on what u really wanna do....If u wanna drive it on the track and or build a serious machine then hands down turbo is the way to go, dial the boost down for street and put it up for track, mind you that is with upgraded internals tho, which then reinforces everyones point so far of how a turbo will give you room to improve.........
BUT for a daily driver, in and around town, and to be honest with all this freakin traffic, i would go with a supercharger, and that whining sound is just crazy!

I would build a turbo kit have someone tune it well @ 8lbs and call it a day. As for headwork the motor in it's stock form flows well as is. Concentrate on the bottom end if you plan on building your motor.

Supercharger is great for daily driven because all the power starts now! as opposed to 3500rpm. However turbo will kill it.
6psi JRSC is designed for stock engines I believe...but if you up the boost via larger pulley...stock will only handle so much.
I agree $2500 is not that much, but man $2500 will buy a turbo and as long as your not greedy with it, 6-8psi will last awhile and give you great performance.
A guy on clubel Mikeweb is selling his GSR turbo stuff I think, not sure of the price, but he was making 303whp on a B18C1. Its probably all top of the line stuff, but $2500-$3000 may do it.
