Exclamation Jackson Racing Supercharger

ok..heres tha deal. I found a guy who is selling a JRS for my 98 civic ex for $650 US. It comes with an upgraded 10 pound boost pulley and a host of fuel goodies, such as pump, injectors, etc. it also comes with a stage 5 clutchmasters clutch and a lightened flywheel. aslo included is the JR intake. my question is this: he says it has 40,000 miles on it. IS THAT TOO MANY MILES OR IS THIS AN AWESOME DEAL?

price seems to good to be true...... clutch and flywheel should be around 500 US alone.

its an amazeing deal if everything is in good condition.. But most of the time, things are to good to be true... IMO clutchmasters are the best clutch equipment for the $... as for supercharger milage, I would take it to somone knowledgable before installing it.. It might need new berings or something...

That whole setup would be a killer upgrade if its all good condition

ask to see pics of the components... the JRSC are notorious for leaking supercharger oil.

Ask if you can come pick it up.

I'd be wary of anyone who said they can't meet up with you; lots of scammers out there. Be careful!

I didnt notice you said it was a stage 5 clutch...

Clutchmasters are killer upgrades, but the stage 5 clutchmasters have an immediate harsh engagement... the clutch should only be used for race applictions and are not recommended for street use...

Stage 2 Clutchmaster would of been primo on that setup... either that supercharger had the **** kiked out of it in races, or buddy had no idea what he was doing when he bought that clutch... which would make one wonder again about the condition of the JR...

Id be werey, but worth checking out if its closeby... I wouldnt by it over ebay or something like that...

that setup might be garbage you never know...plus you woudl need resistors for the injectors and a afc to trim them plus 10 psi woudl fry your motor...nto to mention even on a built motor you woudl need water injection to cool that hot *** JRS charge
