ITR springs for 1.6EL

stock 1.6EL is very soft but since at this time (just got the car, tires, etc so not alot of dough left) can ITR springs/shocks fit and work well with a 1.6EL?

it will not lower the car more then likely 0.5-0.75" but the spring rates will be significantly stronger. plus a wrecker or somebody who upgraded to coils. etc may be selling for decent price with lower rear control arms which i guess are needed due to where shock mounts?

any input?

oh ya, will an ITR rear sway bar fit as well? whats needed to make it fit?

from what i've seen online:
1.6EL Sport weighs 2516lbs
ITR weights 2639lbs

so the EL 133lbs lighter but the ITR suspension should be alittle shorter making it a minimal drop of any, but it definately shouldn't make the EL any higher.

to fit, you need rear lower control arms with it

for the ITR rear sway I have one... you should not do it unless you get the a-spec racing lower subframe reinforcement, or at the VERY least a beaks kit. I'll likely be selling my Beaks mounting brackets soon if you are interested.

ITR Rear shocks won't work on the EL. ITR springs will work on the EL stock shocks (or aftermarket). Front shocks from an ITR will work on the front of the EL.

ITR sway bar for the rear bolts onto the EL with bigger bushings.

ITRs have a wider track in the back, they are 5 mm wider than any other regular integra or Civic... so if anything, wouldn't they be too long??

I dunno, but I've seen EK cars with full ITR suspensions. I never looked into it cuz I got everything I need.
