Hey guys i jus have a question bout the b18c5's.

How much are they? Whats the average price for them?
How hard is it to get a hold of one?
Is it a straight drop into a 2000 Civic?
What kind of Modifications need to be done if dropped into a 2k Civic?
Once in am I looking at a MAJOOOR difference in power? Since the Integ is heavier (i assume then the civic) will it feel much crazzier then if it was in an ITR????
What about a B18c1?? How hard is that to find and to drop into a 2k civic?

I was kidding. You should've posted this in the Performance forum, and not Exterior, hence my sarcasm.

And yeah, this is a pretty straight forward swap. Very expensive though.

I am jus used to the exterior forums that i totally forgot about where i was posting it. Makes more sense now jugglez i thought u meant it in a sarcastic way cuz like it might not fit or sumthin. LOL

ITR swaps go for about $6000-$8000 for engine, tranny, ecu.. Price difference is cause of demand/year/mileage/ mood of the guy at the engine shop...

Dropping it into a 2000 Civic won't be too hard.. actually if you have all the parts.. it should be plug and play.. If the shop knows what they're doing..

But finding one at a decent price is going to be rather difficult.. I know one guy who sells JDM ITR motors.. They're in MINT condition with only a few thousand kms on them, but he wants crazy money for them.
