I'm planning on getting a set of ITR cams
so, i'm wondering is there anyway that i can make sure those are ITR cams as well?
I'm afraid after i paid and then i find out they are just B16 cams!v.v then i'll be screwed..lol

Well this is what ITR cams look like. Pay attention to the 2nd and 3rd picture and what the end of the cam looks like this is how you can tell the difference between b-series cams.

You can do it that way, or you can be 99.9% sure, i'll show you how i would do it. Get all the information you can on the cams your buying. Those dudes are bouncing on it





ITR cam Specs (98)
Intake 11.5 mm lift, duration - 240 @ 1mm
Exhaust 10.5 mm lift, duration - 235 @ 1mm

Civic Type-R And Integra Type-R (01 ITR)
Intake 11.5mm lift / 243 dur. @1mm
Exhaust 10.5mm lift / 235 dur. @1mm

Integra GSR (B18C1)
Intake 10.7mm lift / 274 dur. @ 0mm
Exhaust 9.6mm lift / 276 dur. @0mm




Once you have that info buy or borrow one of these. If cash is low buy now and return it when you done.




Now measure cam lobe height's and determine. If it does not fall within the specs shown then they ain't ITR cams. Your spending money on cams don't get ripped off, Make sure you get the cams that will

measure the cam lobe, find out the minimum "diameter" (when the valve is closed) and then find out the maximum "diameter" (when the valve is open (i say diameter in quotations becaue its not really a circle, but a cam lobe)
maximum-minimum=lift
