hi all

i was wondering if anyone has switched for a larger USDM cat (vs. JDM 2.5" cat (shorter length=pipe mods))... has anyone switched a cat from a d-series (y8, etc.) to a larger b-series cat?

basically i'm looking for a larger cat I can bolt onto my set-up (from d16y8)...

I don't really want to go to an aftermarket hi-flow cat as I don't neccessarily trust them and its seems that most exhaust shops tend to chop them in.. I want to be able to crawl under the car and switch things around if I have to...

just get someone to weld on flanges to a high flow, you can get a highflow from part source for like $80 (off the shelf).

as for brands I've heard that some don't work very well and will fail emissions... has anyone experience this before?
