Integra Brake's on my Civic

Will the Rear Disc's from a 91-93 teg bolt onto my 91 civic ? Im pretty sure the Fronts bolt up with No drilling. Searching right now and it seems everyone uses CRX Si disc's. But I knwo where a few smashed older Gen tegs are I can get parts from. And Ive seen the bigger Teg brake's on the front of a Civic. Whats the Interchangability brake's wise? Do tegs have bigger caliper's as well?.....Thnx.

Everything is bolt on, front and back from a 2nd gen teg.

I have rear discs from a 91 integra on my car they work great! And there a lot easier to find then crx ones.

MBSi, what part of the front do you swap out??? complete steering knuckle?

imported_My Blue Si 21-Feb-2005 12:14 PM

I swapped out everything, the entire spindle which includes the wheel bearing, metal shield, rotor, caliper and pads.
But I swapped the rear with 00 GSR (3rd gen) and 93 Integra Front spindles with 2000 GSR pads, rotors and calipers which are all bolt on, to the 2nd gen spindles.
It's more of a bitch to install 3rd gen front spindles on EF's which is why I got the 2nd gen spindles and used my parts off the 00 considering they are staright bolt on and that I bought the complete set in one shot (also they had 50 K on them and all parts were in immaculate shape with 95% meat on everything)
The 3rd gen integra front spindles are direct bolt on to 5th gen civics and up which is more recommended IMO b/c they have no problems whatsover, as opposed to the EF's. 2nd gen are more suitable for this application.

see that's why I ask cuz I know even the 2nd gen knuckles are taller than EF knuckles, so you need the 4 door EX steering knuckles, and all the GSR junk bolts onto that. cuz I looked into this for my EF.

DA knuckles make the upper control arm point up which is a no-no in alignment geometry

Nice thnx. Ya integra brakes are WAAAAY easier to find then rear civic disc's.

Hey I am looking to do a brake swap as well ... I basically want bigger brakes in the front and rear ..I have a 99 4 Door. Would it be better just to get a big brake kit? I don't find the rear brakes of a Teg to be big enough .. Atleast visually. Is there any other bigger option I can go with for the rear?
