he mean upgrade the engine, cuz a decent aftermarket manifold costs about the same lol.

I think the obx is just eye candy, ive never seen any dyno tests or reviews...

none the less its totaly not worth it if your engine isnt ready for it. tell us about your other mods first

aftermarket intake manifolds do make you lose HP on stock applications as there is just too much air that is being introduced into the combustion chamber at a slow rate...for them to be effective u need more suck from the engine or some external forced induction unless u wanna velocity port the head and crap like that...but hey the do look cool!

hmm..are you sure about that..
d16's make around 125 stock, not to the wheels..most d15's are less then a 100 hp...jdm aren't that much more..

what is so magical about ur d15 that it's making such power..
i'd love to yield such results out of my d16z6 without boosting it..

enlighten me..

your best bet is to steer away form the intake mani and just get i/h/e then go for a cam adn a vafc to tune....then get a zc lsd tranny...or jsut save for a turbo cause that's the only way to get some hp outta that motor....or buy a nitrous kit I'd say lsd tranny good clutch window welded motor mounts i/h/e and it woudl pull nicely...1500 cc has its' draw backs n/a

After years of fiddiling with intake manifolds , ive found that skunk2 makes the best all around intake manifold. I have mine match to a 70mm t/b but a skunk2 intake manifold and any b-series t/b will be a good setup for your motor.

Thanks for the info guys, i already have a cat-back exhaust and a cold ait intake, so im gonna get me a header. im thinking of getting 4-1 (1pc). from my understanding the one piece is more durable and will last longer, (thats comming from a muscle head friend with a 67 Corvette) anyhow does anyone know the difference, or shud i say the benefits and disadvantages between a 4-2-1 and a 4-1??? thanks

i just got my SK2 intake manifold installed in my car and a STR manifold in my friend's B20, since mine is a turbo i noticed better power when turbo kicks in andbetter mid range power, since i haven't tried top end power yet! and the B20 vtec pretty good gain on mid to hi end power, it's noticibly faster esp when vtec kicks in!! feels like it made more difference than when we got the CAI installed! get the SK2 one it's well made stock looking and it's not that expensive!!
