intake manifold question
hello there recently I completed a swap of a b16 into my ek....I also lucked out and was able to get an integra type r intake manifold and throttlebody and CAI...I have the throttlebody on and the CAI, I have not tried the manifold....would it work on the b16a2? what parts would be needed? other than a gasket? and finally what are the specs of the stock throttlebodys from b16 to the type r???
Any help would be much appreciated

yes you can use the ITR t/b and intake manifold on your b16. Its actually a pretty good upgrade, especially since you got the ITR t/b.
The 2nd gen b16a t/b is 60mm and i believe the ITR t/b is 65mm. You should look into getting a hondata (or imitation, fakedata as i like to refer to them as) intake manifold gasket. It helps stop the transfer of heat from the cylinder head to the intake manifold. I am currently using a fakedata IM gasket (which i got for $60) and am more than impressed with how well it works.
Oh, a tip for the install, get a impact screwdriver, if you don't already have one, because the screws on the intake air temperature sensor can be a bitch to remove and an impact screwdriver works great.
Happy modding.

ummm. I got mine from someone on this board. I will PM you with more information.
Oh, and don't forget to remove the bracket attached to the intake manifold, and have fun with the bottom bolts that hold the IM to the head.
This is soooo much easier if you have a lift you can use, its not impossible to do on the ground, but definately much harder.
