Installing short shifter...

I took apart my console to change my stock shifter in my honda civic and to put in the short shifter I just bought but i dont know what to do next i am told there are pins under neath the car but i dont want to play around wihtout knowing exactly what to do do you guys know how its done ?>

theres is DIY on here I believe and on civiclub.com
I personally think if you have no clue, pay someone who does to do it for you.

how is he supposed to drive it there without the linkage back together.

just search buddy, does nobody ever search. Try Honda-tech.com and search there too.
