How much of the stock piping and plastic pieces should i remove???

i am talking about the big black plastic box near the front on the engine bay, should i remove it???? what is the purpose of this?????

you can remove that big box, you'll have to take the bumper off to get it out tho, or you can just leave it there, it doesn't do anything once you've disconnected the stock intake

remove everything, it will free up space.... and be useless...

remove the black box and the tubing that is attached to it. There are like 2 clips that hold the box in place.

insert new SRI and re-plug O2 sensor etc. and voila!

what is the purpose of that BIG BLACK BOX. i removed it today and still have the rest of the stock tubing..... i don't feel any difference without it...........it may even run better

It's to drown out noise. If you listen closely you should be able to hear a slight whistle. This whistle will be louder with a short ram on there.
