Chinese Buffet

This what happended. A few days (3 to be exact) ago I was driving back from work and I feel the tiniest clicking feeling throught the accelerator (gas pedal). I didn't think much of it because I thought it was just he cracks on the road.. After a while I was driving on freshly paved road. The road was smooth and I still felt the little clicks.

I cannot hear the clicks I can just feel them... so how do I know its actaully clicking? Well it feels like a bad cv joint when you turn but its far less noticible. I do hear clicking sounds when I turn at a certian angle so I know my cv joints are exacly the greatest in the world. I heard from a mechanic that when your joint actaully starts to click when you are going straight you have a serious problem. Is this a sign that my axle / cv joint about to go? Would the click sound alot louder if it was my axle / cv joint?

I don't feel the clicking when I don't accelrate and the car is in a free roll and I don't feel the clicking when the I'm actaully accelerating going from slow to fast. I only feel this when I'm just hanging with the speed I'm going at and I'm half way in between not accelerating and press hard.

Someone told me that they had a friend with the exact problem, he too thought it was his axle or cv joint and he too did not hear the clicking once the gas wasn't press and the car was just free rolling. It turned out to be loose lug nuts at his front left wheel where the sound was coming from? I'm definately going to check this first as soon as I get out of work today. I don't wanna spend $400 - $500 replacing my axles to come and find out at the end that it wasn't the problem to beging with...

Talk about big post eh.. sorry guys. Any ideas???

I used to hear a clicking noise also when giving it gas or letting go of the gas pedal (very faint noise) it turned out to be a relay or something under the dash. It only seemed to happen when I pressed/released the gas pedal. I only noticed the noise on very smooth roads, and when the radio was off (when the car was quiet)

Turns out to be a normal thing.
