alright i bought a set of illuminas and the tein stech springs i'm just wondering if anyone runs this setup and what i should expect from it.... ? thank u

Those springs will take a month to settle properly... mine had crazy wheel gap until they settled. It won't slam your car by any means, but it's a conservative drop.

I read in a Tein advertisement once that they gurantee a maximum settlement of like 3 or 5 %...i can't remember what magazine the ad was in though. Can anybody confirm this?

How do the springs feel? u happy with them?

I have s techs on my eg sedan, the ride is very nice, but they are not the stiffest springs around, cornering did improve but there is still quite a bit of body roll, spring rates are f 212, r 140, which isn't much.

for tein s tech the drop is lower on eks than on egs i just purchased these for my ek and im also thinking about getting illuminas as well

I can't decide between Koni Yellow and Illumina, I see all those posts about agx vs illumina, but Koni is always left out, I've never heard a bad thing about Koni yellows, just want to know which route to go, are konis better than Tokico?

although, Koni is in a totally different price range, perhaps this is why nobody compares them to tokico or kyb

i think illuminas and yellows are pretty evenly matched. If i had the choice in between either, it would be whichever were cheaper

i just got teins and illuminas installed today and it is an amazing setup and the ride feels nice and stiff

considering these as well. with the springs being softer, can the shocks be set alittle stiffer to compensate? i'm not talking racing stiff, but maybe 1 click more front and rear?

also anyone running these with 17's, any rub? hows the camber?
