Idling really low

Hey guys, I need some help Ive noticed that my car has been idling very low lately like it used to idle at like 600-700 but its now down to prolly 300. It was fine until I cleaned the battery posts and installed power locks, since then its been whacko, could any of that cause the idle to go that low? TIA

in my case it was the distributor cap and rotor being worn and needing care. inspect plugs and wires at the same time... wires to have resistance < 3000 ohms, but some say more, some say less. Mine are all under 1K ohms.

the less resistance you have in the wires the bigger the spark.....
