My car was sitting for about 2 weeks, and when i started it up it idles very low, at about 100rpm, instead of the usual 900-1000rpm, does anyone know what the problem could be?

Unplug the IAVC and with that disconnected it should run at 550 or so.
The IAVC connector is on the backside of the intake manifold. With that unplugged you can then make changes to your idle with the Idle screw right on the throttle body.

750 is right around the magic number. The car will stall out at anything below 500....trust me I know, I went through this all before. On your tach gauge it will seem like it is in near even 100-200...when really it is about 500 or so. Did you try and unplug the IAVC and see what your idle is WITHOUT the help of your computer? This way you can see if your computer is the problem or mechanical.

my RPM sits at 500-600 after the first year of owning my car. And I bought it brand new. Should I be worried. I have driven it 6 years and 255XXX km now?
Once in a blue moon, when I have the A/C on a hot day, coming to a hard stop, the RPM drops to 200 and comes back up to 600.

did you check power and ground to the iac? Also check for damaged wires. On GM 3.1's, if you disconnect the battery, the iac goes nuts. If you take it out, it has aplunger that gets gummed up. Spraying 'cleens' on it and pushing the plunger all the way solves the problem. Try that on yours. Make sure plunger is moving freely.
p.s. the engine looks good. thanx.
