idle fluctuates

When I start my car to warm it up, my tach fluctuates and sounds as if I'm revving my car. After about a minute, it stops fluctuating. Why's it doing that?

Coolant Temp sensor? Or just something messed up with high idle control...maybe the IACV or could be ignition related.

Under the hood is a good place to start LOL

Emission controls are scattered throughout the engine bay, and this is surely an e-control problem. Start with checking the basics, like making sure the ignition components are in good shape, the proceed to start checking controls. By no means should you be EVER touching the idle control screw on the t-body. This is set on a flow bench, and unless you have a flow bench in your ***, don't touch this screw. Ideally, check the t-body and IAC for carbon build up. Check the Engine Coolant Temp sensor for proper resistance. Get some answers back to us, and we can help you resolve your problems.
