Does anyone know if a b18 iacv will work on a obd1 b16. ?

as long as the bolt holes are the same distance apart, yes....hell i've even see some people use just 1 bolt to hold the iacv down to the intake manifold (without any problems).
I've used iacvs off of d-series engines on b-series and vice versa, to my knowledge and from my experiences their all the same (except for the automatic ones b/c they are 3 wire instead of just the 2 wire).

Now i've also heard of some people having a problem when using an obd2 iacv with an obd1 ecu, but i've never encountered that problem in my days....i've used obd2 iacvs with obd1 ecus lots of times....like on all of the obd2 converted cars i tune...lol.

Ive also used an obd2 iac with obd1 ecu.. no problems.

i've bolted up d16 iac's to my b18b IM and a type-r IAC, etc.. I think the only diff. is what Lenny said.. but i'm not 100% sure.

yeah I'm looking at getting an obd1, its of a b18c so I'll give it ashot and see what happens, thanks
