Hey. Im not a Civic guy bu I am really interested in the Honda engines. I been having some debate with a freind of mine and want to verify the following..

B16B = Type R Engine
B16A = Sir Engine

Is that even right? Also if some one could tell me these engines.

B20C is that from an Odessy?
What is a B18 from? Anyway Im hoping some one can give me the low do

The d15 and all d series are SOHC correct?

the d16y5 came in the USDM HX (they came with those almost VX style rim that are uberly yummy)

d16Y8 i believe.... i have an EX which is an Si to you... but mine is a 98 but i believe all 96-98 CDM Si's and USMD EX's came with the y8

and its rated at like 125-130 hp i believe

not much..... both SOHC vtec.... almost same HP #s

the D16Z6 and the D16Y8 are from different year civics one is a OBD1 engine the other is a OBD2 engine

the internals of z6 and y8 are completely diff tho.

z6 has a small combustion chanber and dished pistons, y8 has large combustion chamber and dome pistons
both of them make about the same power tho
