I Need Someone To Help Me Clear Things Up!

so here's the deal, im in the market for an ECU for my car. It's a 1992 Honda Civic EX 4dr swapped with a 97 si engine from Japan - which didnt come with an ECU. So ive been asking questions about which ECU to get that will work perfectly with my car. Ive been told that a P28 will work and then ive been told that it might not work and to find out exactly which ECU i need. Does anyone know what the hell i should do???? all i want is a ECU that will work perfectly with my car's engine so that i can activate my friggin Vtec.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!

P28 will work, that's whatI'm running by d15b with... apparently it's a little more rich than the proper ecu would be, but the fuel maps are very similar. The proper ecu would be the p08, that's what would have been in the car in japan, but that ecu would not bolt up to your bracket without some modification also it has speed cutoff set at 180 or 190, not that u really ever need to exceed that speed anyway. So to sum it up, just get a p28

u could always chip the p28 with the d16y8 maps. But honestly i would just leave it stock the p28 will be fine.
