I need new clutch
I plan on getting a fidanza flywheel and a Exedy Race Organic clutch kit, any suggestion?
I will use mostly on the street, and about 30% use on the track, organic will do the job? or I have to get cerametallic? Never used their stuff.

I had an Exedy Organic in my last car. Was really impressed with it. It held everything I could through at it and even when breaking in it was never choppy or grabby. The price for those is awesome too...so assuming you are not making gobs of power...it would be my recomendation.

Check out a place in T.O called Eurodrive, or PM 1sloweg. He has there stage 5 clutch kit that costed $450, that grabs and holds better then ACT. His clutch is unbelivable, I know you may not want something that harsh but talk to em and let them know what your looking for, so far everyone who has driven my friends car has remarked on how good the clutch is.

Stage 5 clutch, if I am comparing to Exedy, what stage is that? Stage 2 Cerametallic? how much holding capacity increased? Thanks a lot!

an exedy race organic has a organic disc with a 1900 lbs PP so it will hold anything you can make all motor and a small shot of n20 or small turbo setup if not abused...it has alot more than you can throw at with a bolt on allmotor b16
in comparison the act HD clutch is a 2100 lbs pp so the exedy is comparible and is good..but you gotta remember to get teh "race" organic and not jsut the oem replacement

I can only speak from what I have seen, and its better then any clutch I've felt. Even a guy with a 12 sec boost prelude that has a heavy duty ACT clutch liked the eurodrive better, it grabbs much much better then many other aftermarket clutches from what I have seen.
Also read that thread that was posted, only one person complained about the clutch, but they didnt know other companies used rebuilt clutch's so his point is really irrelavent.
Everyone I know loves there eurodrive clutch, and I think its one of the best out there. Havent seen a clutch yet that compares to my buddy's.
So its up to you, pay the $$$$$$$$$$ for ACT, Clutchmaster etc...
Pay $$$ for an excedy or pay $$$1/2 for eurodrive that is hella better then most clutch's including the ACT.
But this is all in my opinion, and from what I have experienced others may have different stories.
I know when I get my clutch is comming from eurodrive, so if u still dont have a clutch by then, come by and try mine out.

I'm not arguing feel here. It can feel like a nice warm apple pie as far as I'm concerned, I don't give a rat's ***. I'm just saying why put in something that's relined instead of brand new? Esp something that requires 6 hours of labour (for most amateurs w/ handtools) to put in. You wouldn't like McDonalds making hashbrowns out of the fries from the garbage, why do you want Eurodrive making performance clutches from old worn out ones?
